Acceptable use policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

KernelQuad provides compute for learning, research and analysis. To keep it safe and fair for everyone, you must not use it to:

  • Mine cryptocurrency or run proof-of-work, proof-of-space or similar workloads.
  • Attack, scan, probe or disrupt any system or network without explicit authorisation from its owner.
  • Send spam, run open proxies, or host phishing, malware or command-and-control infrastructure.
  • Store or process content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or sexually exploits minors.
  • Process personal or sensitive data without a lawful basis and the permissions required by your institution.
  • Try to access other users' workspaces or data, or bypass isolation, quotas or budget limits.
  • Resell or share accounts or compute outside your plan.
  • Violate the acceptable use policies of our infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare.

Monitoring and enforcement

We monitor resource usage patterns (for example, sustained GPU use and network activity) to detect abuse. We may pause workloads, suspend accounts and notify the relevant institution when we believe this policy has been broken. Serious or illegal activity may be reported to the authorities.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse using our contact form and choose "Abuse report".
